Here is a quick guide on safety controls available in Disney Mix.
What is Disney Mix?
Disney Mix is a free messaging app that lets you chat, share, and play with friends in a whole new way. Start by personalising an avatar and then connect with friends and family. Get creative and express yourself with stickers and memes featuring some of your favourite characters. Invite your friends and family to play games and make them laugh with hilarious gags.
Disney Mix is available on iOS and Android devices, both tablet and handheld.
Creating an Account on Disney Mix
When you create an account on Disney Mix, you agree to follow the Community Rules. If you’re under 13, make sure you get permission to download from your parents first, and review the rules with them. Then you’ll be ready to get in the Disney Mix!
Disney Mix Community Rules
Stay Safe – Don't share details about yourself with people you don't know. That includes your real name, phone number, home address, email address, social networking information, school name, and/or personal blog.
Respect Others – Be respectful and kind to other Disney Mix users. Treat others how you’d like to be treated! Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.
Keep it Clean – Inappropriate language is not allowed in Disney Mix. You should only use language that you would feel comfortable using in front of your parents and teachers.
Breaking any of these rules will result in a temporary or permanent ban from the app.
Safety in Disney Mix
We use a combination of professional moderators and state-of-the-art technology to moderate all content posted to Disney Mix. You can only send messages with someone if you have both accepted a friend request, and all posts are moderated regardless of where they appear in the app.
Protecting Your Chats
Disney Mix has filters in place to make chats safer. Inappropriate chat, language, and personal information will be blocked by these filters and you’ll see dashes instead of words when something is blocked.
Reporting Unfriendly Chats
If you see any chats that you don't like, you can report that conversation to our moderators by clicking the “Whistle” icon on the top of that chat thread. You can also remove someone from your Friends List at any time by swiping left on their name in your Friend’s List and tapping the “Remove” icon.
